Good for Daisy Mae and L'il Abner.. what a great team....so many important points are being made public.. i do hope this link or the information therein will be passed along to the elected and non-elected officials of the City of Montebello. Because of the persistence of several alert readers of the C of C Spotlight, the words "paid advertisment" now appear in very tiny print at the bottom of the Cook-Hill ads... it is very hard to get quotes on how much the full page ones cost.. perhaps a member of the CofC who places smaller ads and who wants the Hillls preserved as open space and a natural ecotourist attraction would be kind enough to let everyone know how much has been spent on ads so when the 'dickering' about the price of the land comes up, it can be cited as a reason to not let the oil company plead poverty.....they could have saved the money and donate or at least offer the land at a reasonable price.. not with the zoning changed...
